AI-generated content may be incorrect.WATERTOWN - United Way of Northern New York (UWNNY), in partnership with Watertown Savings Bank, invites the community to participate in a heartwarming new initiative: Socks for Seniors. Now through December 12, community members are encouraged to donate new, cozy socks to help spread holiday cheer and remind local seniors that they are loved this season.

While a pair of socks may seem like a small gift, UWNNY knows that small acts of kindness can make a big impact. Socks for Seniors is a way for everyone to partake in the spirit of the season, to let our older neighbors know that someone cares. UWNNY is hopeful the community will have fun shopping for socks that are less about practicality and more about spreading comfort and joy.

Donations will be collected by United Way and distributed through Meals on Wheels and other senior meal delivery services across Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties this December, in hopes of delivering countless smiles throughout the North Country.
