...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST WEDNESDAY...

 

* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 6 to 9

  inches in the most persistent lake snows. Greatest snowfall

  expected across the Tug Hill Plateau, with 3 to 5 inches expected

  across the Watertown Metro area.

 

* WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis Counties.

 

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Wednesday.

 

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult. The hazardous conditions will

  impact the Tuesday morning commute. The Wednesday morning commute

  across the Watertown Metro area will also be impacted.

 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 

Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling,

be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
