The show consists of a wonderfully talented group of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who have been rehearsing since the start of the school year.  The cast includes; Parker Sullivan playing Alex, Taylor Zehr as Marty,  Helaina Burk as Gloria, Josephine Vance as Melman, Jeremiah Austin as Mason, and Braelynn Eaves, Mya Zehr, Brailey Widrick as the Zookeepers. The lemurs are played by Apsen Acor as Mort, Brailey Widrick as Lynn, Kineli Krop as Lew, Mya Zehr as Lee, Aubrianna Brotherton as Lars, Eliana Krop as Maurice, and Halle Crawford as King Julien. Other roles include Adrionna Engelhart as Candy Hammernose, Maci Hoppel as the Cameraman, Evlyn Meleshchuk as the Passerby, Noah Robbins as Newspaper Man, Chloe Blair as Old Lady, Caroline Murdie as Subway Announcer, Ava Conway and Brynn Froehlich as Police Officers and Aaron Reynolds as Ship’s Captain. In the ensemble we have Jadzia Conorino, Ava Conway, Adrionna Englehart, Layne Godlewski, Maci Hoppel, Anderson Jantzi, Vivian Kleine, Brynn Krop, Natalie Krop, Asindra Medina, Evlyn Meleshchuk, Caroline Murdie, Noah Robbins, Chloe Olmstead, Chase Peebles, Aaron Reynolds, Zale Workman as Zoo Guests, Servers and Steaks. Lionesses and Foosa will be played by Kianna Barker, Aryanna Blackwell, Chloe Blair, Brynn Froehlich, Ellie Houppert, Lyla Jantzi, Sophia Kearse, Gigi Lehec, Stella Malone, Sadie Peebles, Audrey Waugh.

 

Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.

 

Madagascar is a musical adaptation of the animated film, following the story of four Central Park Zoo animals who are accidentally shipped to Madagascar, where they meet the flamboyant King Julien. The plot centers on Marty the zebra's desire for the wild, leading to a jailbreak that involves his friends Alex the lion, Gloria the hippo, and Melman the giraffe, and the mischievous penguins.
