NOTICE:
2026 TENTATIVE LEWIS
COUNTY BUDGET
Notice is hereby
given that the Lewis County Board of Legislators will meet in the Legislative
Chambers of the Lewis County Courthouse, 7660 N. State Street, Lowville,
N.Y. at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 for
a public hearing on the Tentative Lewis County Budget for fiscal year
beginning January 1, 2026. A copy of
the 2026 Tentative Budget is available on the website lewiscountyny.gov
or at the Office of the Clerk of the Board at the Lewis County Courthouse,
during business hours.
Pursuant to
Section 359 of the County Law the maximum salaries that may be fixed and
payable during said fiscal year to members of the Board of Legislators and
the Chairperson thereof, are hereby specified as follows:
