During this event, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Nurse Aides, and Certified Nursing Assistants were recognized by their peers for consistently exemplifying the ICARE values of Lewis County Health System: Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.  Nominations by peers are an honor that helps foster a strong, collaborative team.

“Lewis County has some of the best nurses in the region, and I am extremely proud of this year’s Nursing Excellence Award nominees and winners,” said Marcy Teal, BSN, Chief Nursing Officer of LCHS. “I am proud of the award recipients and appreciate their dedication to patient outcomes and satisfaction.”

Through their tireless work across the entire health system, the nursing team demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence.

“Nursing is a vital and compassionate profession that directly improves lives through essential care, support, comfort, and leadership. We are grateful for every nurse, nurse aide, and CNA who has a profound impact on our patients and the communities that LCHS serves,” states Gerald R. Cayer, Chief Executive Officer of LCHS.
