WATERTOWN, NY – Jefferson
Community College (JCC) is inviting prospective students to an event they
won’t want to miss! Instant Admit Week runs December
8–12, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday. During this event, students planning to
start college in the winter session or spring semester can apply for
admission, receive an on-the-spot admission decision, and learn their next
steps in the enrollment process.
Prospective
students should bring high school transcripts and official college
transcripts in their original sealed envelopes to their Instant Admit
appointment.
Winter session
classes begin December 15, 2025, and spring semester classes begin January
20, 2026.
JCC offers more
than 50 academic programs, including associate degrees, one-year
certificates, and microcredentials. Prospective
students are encouraged to apply for federal and state financial aid, now
available to both full- and part-time students. Programs like SUNY
Reconnect provide full tuition for students ages 25–55 pursuing a degree in
a high-demand field. Additionally, students from families earning $125,000
or less may qualify for free tuition at Jefferson. With generous
financial aid and JCC’s low tuition, students can access an affordable,
