York State Governor

Congresswoman
Elise Stefanik has announced this morning that she will be seeking the
Republican nomination for New York State Governor in the upcoming 2026

Congresswoman
Stefanik has represented New York’s 21st Congressional district, including
Lewis County, in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2015.
Current Governor
Kathy Hochul has previously announced her intentions to seek re-election to the position and her Lt. Governor Anthony Delgado
announced in July he will be seeking the Democratic party nomination as
well.
The Primary
Election in New York is scheduled for June 26, 2026, with the General
Election taking place on November 3, 2026.
