for November 5th Meeting on 2026 Budget and Proposed Extension of Solar Moratorium

Budget
PLEASE TAKE
NOTICE, that the Final Budget for the Town of Martinsburg for fiscal year
beginning January 1, 2026, has been filed in the Town Clerk's Office, at
the Town Municipal Office Building, 5405 Cemetery Road Martinsburg, New
York, where it is available for inspection by any interested person during
regular business hours.
PLEASE TAKE
FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, the public
hearing on the Final Budget is to be held on November 05, 2025, at
5:30 p.m. at the Town Municipal Office Building, at which time any person
may be heard in favor of or against any items therein
contained. The proposed salaries of the following Town Officers
are hereby specified as follows:
Supervisor $12,000.00
Councilmen
(4) $4,700.00
each
Hwy.
Superintendent $56,500.00
Town
Clerk $22,500.00

Please take
notice that the Town Board of the Town of Martinsburg shall hold a Public
Hearing on Wednesday November 5, 2025, at 5:30 pm, for “Extending the
Moratorium on The Construction, Installation, and Operation of Solar Energy
Systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems in the town of Martinsburg for a
period of nine (9) months. Persons wishing to be
heard on this issue should be present at the time and place afforested or
have submitted written comments in advance To Martinsburg Clerk, PO Box 8,
Martinsburg, NY 13404.
