HEARING:
Proposed Local
Law: 2% Tax Cap Override
PLEASE TAKE
NOTICE that a Local Law has been introduced by the Town Board of the Town
of Croghan to override the 2% Tax Cap in the Town of Croghan, Lewis County,
New York.
PLEASE TAKE
NOTICE that a Public Hearing in connection with the proposed Local Law will
be held at the Municipal Offices located at 9882 State Route 126,
Castorland, New York on November 5, 2025 at 2:00
p.m. and that an opportunity to be heard in regard thereto will then and
there be given to all persons.

NOTICE that the Town of Croghan will hold a Public Hearing on the 2026
Preliminary Budget on November 5, 2025 at 2:00
p.m. The Public Hearing will take place at the Town Municipal Offices
located at 9882 State Route 126, Castorland. The proposed salaries of the
following Town Officers are hereby specified as follows:

Supervisor $19,500.00
·
Clerk $26,250.00
·
Highway Superintendent $60,000.00
·
Councilmembers (4) $4,000.00 each
