Lyons Falls Man Arrested on Criminal Contempt and
Stalking Charges in Oneida County

According to
Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, a Village of Lyons Falls man was
arrested after an investigation into a domestic dispute.
On October 20,
2025, Road Patrol Deputies responded to a residence for reports of a
domestic dispute involving a violation of an order of protection. During
this investigation, it was discovered that the domestic dispute had
occurred in the Town of New Hartford. Due to this, this incident was
handled by the New Hartford Police Department. While on scene, it was
discovered that the suspect had also previously violated the same order of
protection when numerous phone calls were made to the victim. Due to this,
the case was turned over to the Sheriff's Office Domestic Violence Unit.
On October 22,
2025, Investigators arrested Paul T. Ramos, age 42, for Criminal Contempt
in the First Degree, a Class E Felony, and Stalking in the Fourth Degree, a
Class A Misdemeanor.
Ramos was
processed at the LEB and held at the Oneida County Jail pending an
arraignment in CAP Court.
