The Great Pumpkin Race Returns to Lewis County
Fairgrounds
Lace up your
sneakers and grab your costumes—The Great Pumpkin Race is back at the Lewis
County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Whether you’re a
seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just looking for an excuse to wear
your favorite Halloween costume, this is the event for you! The Great Pumpkin Race is the perfect way
to enjoy the crisp fall air and support our community hospital. The racecourse will take participants
through the heart of Lowville, surrounded by the colors and crisp air of
autumn.
Costume prizes
will be awarded for the funniest, cutest, most creative and best
group. All participants will be
entered to win door prizes and refreshments will be served after the
event.
Registration and
packet pickup starts at 8:00 am at the Fairgrounds Pavilion and the Race
starts at 9:00 am sharp. The race
will be timed by Auyer Race Timing. You
can register at runsignup.com and search
the Great Pumpkin Race. Participants that register before Friday, October 10th
are guaranteed a shirt.
