New Four-Way Stop at Intersection of State Route 26 and
State Route 12D, Town of West Turin
The New York State Department of Transportation is
advising motorists that the intersection of State
Route 26 and State Route 12D in the Town of West Turin,
Lewis County, is now a four-way-stop, with
new signs installed on both highways.
The new signs took effect immediately upon installation
and motorists are advised to proceed with
caution in the vicinity of the intersection while
traffic adjusts to the new pattern.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones.
Fines are doubled for speeding in
a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding
violations in a work zone could result in the
suspension of an individual’s driver license.
