Naturally Lewis, Inc. Announces Joanne Witt as New
Executive Director
 LEWIS COUNTY, NY – Naturally Lewis,
Inc. is announcing Joanne Witt as the new Executive Director of our
nonprofit economic development organization. This announcement builds on
the update shared in April 2025, when the organization communicated plans
for the leadership transition.
The Naturally
Lewis, Inc. Board of Directors led an extensive and competitive hiring
process to identify the next Executive Director of the organization. The
responsibilities of the Executive Director include organizational
leadership and strategic planning, staff leadership and development,
economic and business development, community engagement and partnerships,
and financial and operations management.
“Naturally Lewis,
Inc. is proud to announce Joanne Witt as the Executive Director of our
organization,” said Mike Jackson, Chairman of the Board. “With a strong
background in education and youth development, Joanne brings a fresh
perspective to the work of community and economic development. Her passion
for empowering people and building connections will be an incredible asset
as we continue to grow and serve Lewis County.”
This transition
follows the planned departure of Brittany Davis, who is beginning her next
endeavor. Naturally Lewis, Inc. is grateful for her years of dedication,
leadership, and vision for impactful and intentional economic development.
Joanne Witt
officially assumed her role on August 4, 2025. “I am thrilled to be joining
the Naturally Lewis Team as the Executive Director and serving our
community in this new role.”
