County Health System for Hospital Grade Power Reclining Lounge Chair in
Surgical Waiting Area

Lowville American
Legion Post 162 Donation Makes A Difference
LOWVILLE,
NY─ The Lowville American Legion Post  162 in Lowville recently donated $6,000
to the Lewis County Health System. A
portion of funds were used to purchase a hospital grade power reclining
lounge chair for the Surgical Pavilion waiting area.
“I am extremely
grateful for the generosity of our local Lowville American Legion Post
162,” stated Gerald R. Cayer, Lewis County Health System Chief Executive
Officer. “The health system is fortunate to have strong partnerships with
local organizations and non-profits that truly make a difference in our
community. Thank you, Post 162!”
The lounge chair
will be a valuable addition to the waiting area, providing added comfort
for family members who accompany their loved ones during surgery.
“We are deeply
honored and privileged to have a hospital that understands the needs of the
community. It was our pleasure to contribute to the surgical unit,” said
Lee Hinkleman, County Commander and Past Commander of the Lowville Legion
Post 162.
The Legion raises
funds through a variety of fundraisers, such as their famous Friday fish
fry dinner.
