Brantingham, NY- The Black River Valley Four Wheeler Club, Inc., Brantingham, NY, has generously purchased a Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) to ensure that Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) are immediately available for use by lay bystanders when and where they are needed.

The Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) is stored at the RAVEN ACRES Campground at 7346 Brantingham RD, Brantingham NY. It's located on the wall in front of you as you enter the office building. Please spread the word! It could save someone's life!

This was done in sponsorship with the Larry Virkler Defibrillator fund that has assisted in putting out over 90 AED’s in the county. We hope no one ever needs this, but in case you do it’s there for the community 24/7. Always call 911 in an emergency telling the dispatcher your location and the nature of the call.

Knowing how to do CPR and using an AED is incredibly important. Using cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) within minutes of cardiac arrest can dramatically improve survival rates.

The Brantingham Club, Inc., in partnership with the Brantingham Snowmobile Club, Inc. and Brantingham Community Association, Inc., will sponsor a CPR and AED training course in 2025 for those that want to be trained. The club thanks the Virkler family and the Larry Virkler defibrillator fund, and RAVEN ACRES owner Mike Dolhof. Anyone interested in donating to the fund to help purchase other AEDs in any area, can do so on their go fund me page, 2025 Virkler Defibrillator fund, organization Larry Virkler Memorial defibrillator fund.
