George was a supervisor at Boise Cascade in Lowville for 35 years until his retirement in 1986.  After retirement, George and Margaret moved to Largo, Florida for winters, gradually becoming Largo residents after selling their Lowville home.  In 2023 the couple relocated to Woodstock, Georgia to be near their son.

George dedicated his life to helping others and did so without hesitation, no matter the need.  He was a man of many talents.

George was an avid golfer and together with his wife, he enjoyed travelling and spending time with their family.  Above all, being a husband, dad, and grandparent were his greatest blessings.

He will be dearly missed.
