Liscum at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lowville with Rev. Monsignor Cotter officiating. Ron worked for his father-in-law, Charles Liscum, at Liscum’s Sawmill from 1955 to 1968. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, reading (especially Louis L’Amour-penned westerns), keeping a journal, and traveling with Mary on cruises and bus trips in their retirement. Above all, he enjoyed just spending time visiting with family and his many friends, especially his wife Mary, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Ron’s ready smile, sharp wit, hilarious stories, and loving, positive attitude will be missed by all that knew him.
