AI-generated content may be incorrect.LYONS FALLS - Michael J. Bradish, 71, died Saturday, June 14, 2025 at his home in Lyons Falls. 

 

Mike was born on August 8, 1953 in Lowville, the son of the late Lyle J. and Amilda S. (Hofer) Bradish. He was a graduate of South Lewis Central School, Canton ATC, and graduated with bachelors in education from SUNY Plattsburg. He married Barbara A. Kornmeyer on August 25, 1978 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Boonville. The couple made their home and raised their children in Brantingham. The couple later moved to Lyons Falls. Barbara died on December 27, 2020.   

 

Michael retired from South Lewis Central School as an elementary teacher in Glenfield. Mike was also the owner and operator of Brantingham Golf Club.

 

He is survived by his three children, Laura Bradish; Rebecca (Forrest) Hopkins; Benjamin (Megan) Bradish; his two grandchildren, Madelynne and Cullen; his sister, Mary (Philip) George; his brothers, John F. (Diane) Bradish; Thomas E. Bradish and Patrick L. (Donna) Bradish, several nieces and nephews; and of course his other daughter, his dog, “ Wiff ”.

 

A gathering for family and friends will be on Friday, June 20th at 11AM at the Brantingham Golf Club. A private burial will be in Brantingham Cemetery.

 

Mike was a member of Thursday Night Golf League, Mattawan Hunting Club and Lowville Elk’s Lodge #1605.
