Carlyle “Jr.” was born on October 24, 1962 in Lowville the son of the late Carlyle Leo and the Laura Lucille (Dealing) Overton, Sr. Junior attended Lowville Academy and Central School. He worked for local farmers in the Lowville area. Junior also worked at the former Getes sawmill in Lowville.

 

He is survived by his three sisters, Carla (Dick) Adams, Lucinda "Cindy" Overton and Roxanne (Randy) Morak; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

 

He is predeceased by his brother, Jeffrey C. Overton, Sr.

 

Junior was Big Hearted, he was all about his family and get togethers. He was a great animal lover, caring for his dog Sahara, walking her everyday throughout Lowville, and of course his cat, Miss Kitty.

 

All are invited to a graveside service on Saturday, June 28th at 11:00am at Martinsburg Cemetery, with Rev. Kevin Kitto, Pastor, of Lowville United Methodist Church, officiating.
