Music and Food in the park to celebrate July 4th

The historic Lowville Village Band will open the 2025 Summer Concert Series in Veteran’s Memorial Park on Wednesday, July 2 at 7:00 PM.

The Lowville Village Band has history dating back to 1826.  The Lowville Village Band has nearly fifty brass, woodwind, and percussion players.  Many are local talent while many people travel several miles to perform with the band. The band consists of musicians aged 14 to over 80!

The band will perform in the park on Wednesdays, July 2nd, 9th, 23rd, and 30th, at 7 PM.

Moose Knuckles Food Truck will be on hand at each concert, beginning at 5:30 PM, offering dinners, snacks, drinks and desserts!

The first concert will feature music for the  Fourth Of July Celebration.  Songs to be performed include;  The Stars and Stripes Forever, Marches of America, The Star Spangled Banner, God Bless America, and The Theme from New York , New York.  The military will be saluted in the spectacular Armed Forces Salute.   Put down a blanket, or pull up a lawn chair and enjoy an old fashioned outdoor concert featuring Lowville’s very own Village Band, making music since 1826!!

The new playground is open and there is a lot of green space to play football or Frisbee! In case of rain, the concert will be cancelled for that evening.
