Historic Lowville Village Band Opens 2025 Summer

Music and Food in the park to celebrate July 4th
The historic
Lowville Village Band will open the 2025 Summer Concert Series in Veteran’s
Memorial Park on Wednesday, July 2 at 7:00 PM.
The Lowville
Village Band has history dating back to
1826. The Lowville Village Band has nearly fifty brass,
woodwind, and percussion players. Many are local talent
while many people travel several miles to perform with the band. The band
consists of musicians aged 14 to over 80!
The band will
perform in the park on Wednesdays, July 2nd, 9th, 23rd, and 30th,
at 7 PM.
Moose Knuckles
Food Truck will be on hand at each concert, beginning at 5:30 PM, offering
dinners, snacks, drinks and desserts!
The first concert
will feature music for the Fourth Of July
Celebration. Songs to be performed include;
The Stars and Stripes Forever, Marches of America, The Star Spangled Banner, God Bless America, and The Theme
from New York , New York. The military will
be saluted in the spectacular Armed Forces Salute. Put down a blanket, or pull up a lawn chair and enjoy an old fashioned outdoor concert featuring Lowville’s very
own Village Band, making music since 1826!!
The new
playground is open and there is a lot of green space to play football or
Frisbee! In case of rain, the concert will be cancelled for that evening.
