AI-generated content may be incorrect.GLENFIELD - Dillen A. Deveines, 39, of Blue Street, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, May 14, 2025.

 

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., 5702 Waters Road, Lowville.  A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.  Contributions may be made to Heather Deveines, 6094 Blue Street, Glenfield, NY  13343, for a softball scholarship to be established at South Lewis Central School in Dillen’s honor.   

 

He is survived by his wife, Heather; four children, Addison, Drew, Jordyn (Joe Mort), and Jared (Emma Kenyon); one granddaughter, Mia; his parents, Harold and Linda Deveines; a brother Jared Deveines and his two children, Jayda and Logan Deveines; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was predeceased by his sister, whom he plans on meeting up with again, Jenna Mae Deveines; his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Mary Mathys; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Emma Deveines.

 

Dillen was born on July 9, 1985 in Watertown, a son of Harold and Linda Mathys Deveines.  He graduated from Beaver River Central School in 2004 and furthered his education at Cayuga Community College, earning an Associate’s Degree in radio broadcasting.  Dillen later went to Lineman Training School in Trenton, GA, graduating in 2011.  He worked throughout the eastern United States and currently was working in Marcy, NY for Harlan Electric Company, Harrisburg, PA.

 

Dillen loved golfing at Cedars Golf Course, sports, and all sporting events. He loved to be a part of his children’s sports, especially Addison’s travel softball teams.  He was a huge Syracuse Orangemen and New York Giants fan and collector of their sports memorabilia.  Dillen loved life and having a good time.

 

He was a brother member of IBEW #1249 of Syracuse; and a member of BPOE #1605, Lowville Lodge.  Dillen also excelled in the boy scouts and was an Eagle Scout.
