LEWIS COUNTY YOUTH BUREAU NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
FOR STUDENT MEMBERS
LOWVILLE, NY The Lewis County
Youth Bureau is excited to announce that it is now accepting applications
for student members for the upcoming term. This is a valuable opportunity
for local high school students to get involved in county government,
develop leadership skills, and help shape the future of youth services in
Lewis County.
Eligibility
Requirements:
Must be a student within a Lewis County school
district
Open to students in grades 9 through 12
Must be able to meet once a month (meetings may be
held online or in person)
Willingness to contribute to the board by sharing
ideas, providing a youth perspective, and assisting with
community events
Membership ends upon high school graduation
Benefits of
Serving on the Youth Bureau:
Hands-on experience with government processes,
including funding and state aid
Opportunities for leadership development and
skill-building
Community service hours and letters of recommendation
A platform to influence and shape youth programs and
services in Lewis County
This is a great
