Lewis County School District Budget Votes and Board of Education Election Results

Voters in Lewis County school districts joined those across the state in turning out to the polls today for budget votes and board of education elections. Results, as received, are included below (with board seat winners in bold).

 

BEAVER RIVER CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

Voters approved the district’s $23,255,699 budget by a vote of 285 to 146.

 

Board of Education Election (Vote for 2):

COPENHAGEN CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

Voters approved the district’s $12,679,726 budget by a vote of 60 to 6.

 

Board of Education Election (Vote for 1):

Gabrielle M. Thompson

 

HARRISVILLE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

Voters approved the district’s $11,531,744 budget by a vote of 211 to 60. Voters also approved the proposition to purchase two new buses.

LOWVILLE ACADEMY & CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

Voters approved the district’s $31,425,533 by a vote of 352 to 81. Voters also approved the purchase of three school buses and approved switching board of education seats to at-large elections beginning in 2026.
