ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 4 AM EST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Lake
effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations 4
to 7 inches in the most persistent lake snows.

WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis Counties. The greatest accumulations will be
across far southern Jefferson and far western Lewis counties.
* WHEN...From 4
PM this afternoon to 4 AM EST Tuesday.
*
IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult with snow covered roads and poor
visibility at times. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday
evening commute.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS
ACTIONS...During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of
locally
heavy snow with
greatly reduced visibilities to dry conditions just a few miles away. Be
prepared for rapid changes in weather, visibility, and road conditions.
