Lowville Town Board Adopts Resolution to Increase Dog
Licensing Fees and Eliminate Grace Period Effective March 01

Lowville, NY- The Town of
Lowville Board unanimously adopted a
resolution during their January 16 meeting to increase dog
licensing fees and eliminate the grace period, effective March 01, 2025.
The fee for
licensing a spayed or neutered dog will increase to fifteen dollars
($15.00), which includes the assessment of a one dollar
($1.00) surcharge for the purpose of carrying out animal population control.
The fee for licensing an unspayed or unneutered dog will increase to
twenty-five dollars ($25.00), which includes the assessment of a three dollar ($3.00) surcharge for the purpose of
carrying out animal population control. In addition, a ten
dollar ($10.00) late fee will be imposed for any initial license or
any license renewal more than one (1) business day late.
