Get An Admissions Decision on the Spot at JCC March
3-7, 2025
Jefferson
Community College (JCC) is rolling out the red carpet for prospective
students with its Instant Admit week March 3 to
March 7, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This event
offers a golden opportunity for college-bound students to jumpstart their
academic journey by handling admissions upfront, giving them a head start
on course selection and a smooth transition into college life.
During Instant
Admit, the JCC admissions team will be on hand to provide personalized
guidance and support as students navigate the admissions process. To start
the application process, prospective students must bring their high school
transcripts and official college transcripts enclosed in their original
sealed envelopes.
The Instant Admit
appointment culminates in an on-the-spot admissions decision. By the
conclusion of their appointment, students leave with their admission
secured, fully prepared to take the next step toward enrollment and class
registration.
Jefferson offers
more than 50 academic programs, including associate degree programs,
one-year certificates, and microcredentials.
Students pursuing a microcredential—a digital badge earned after completing three to four
bundles of industry-specific courses—may be eligible for financial aid
while attending college part-time. To determine their full financial aid
eligibility, students should complete the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA). The application window for JCC Foundation
scholarships, which range from $100 to full tuition coverage, opens in late
February. With available financial aid and Jefferson’s low tuition,
students have access to an affordable path to higher education.
To secure your
spot for Instant Admit, schedule an appointment online at www.sunyjefferson.edu/admissions or
contact Enrollment Services at JCC by phone at 315-786-2437.
