Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County is hosting
a Pre-Season Planning Talk and Dinner for maple syrup producers on February
7th at the Lewis County Education Center (7395 East Rd., Lowville)
from 6pm-9pm. This event is open to all maple syrup producers in the
region, includes free dinner from Miller’s Meat Market, a presentation on
maintaining a healthy forest and improving soil quality by Adam Wild
Director of the Uihlein Maple Research Forest, and a Q&A for maple
producers. Registration is required by Monday, February 03, 2025.
