Silas Joel Moser
CARTHAGE- Our precious
son Silas Joel Moser, 5, of Second Road, went from our home to Heaven on
Sunday, January 26, 2025.
He is survived by
his parents, Troy and Rebecca Moser, his big sister AnneMarie,
7, and little brother, Montgomery “Monty”, who is almost 2; maternal
grandparents, Larry and Susan Boldt of Lowville; paternal grandparents,
Lawrence and Linda Moser of Castorland; maternal great-grandparents, Joseph
and Shirley Widrick of Lowville; aunts and uncles, Matthew and Brooke Boldt
and their children, Brynnley, Owen and Liam, of Croghan, Mary Boldt of
Lowville, Eric and Lindsay Moser and their children, Brendon, Samantha,
Keyan, Micah, and Caleb of McMurray, PA; many great-aunts, great uncles and
extended family members.
Silas was born on
March 5, 2019 in Watertown, NY, a son of Troy D.
and Rebecca Boldt Moser. He was in
kindergarten at River Valley Mennonite School in Naumburg and loved going
to school and was excited to be learning to read. Silas loved playing with his sister,
especially playing animals, they did everything
together. He loved playing chase
with his toddler brother. Silas
loved playing games, catching frogs, and climbing on rocks with his sister.
The funeral will
be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025
at his church, Living Hope Ministries, Watson with Pastor Todd Waugh
officiating. There are no calling
hours. Spring
burial will be in Croghan Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers you are welcome to
send balloons for Silas, as he loved them or
contributions may be made to Living Hope Ministries (for Giving Hope, A
community service project) 6722, Kuntz Road, Lowville, NY 13367.
We would like to
say a special thank you to the first responders for their efforts and care
of Silas and our family.
