ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM EST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Lake
effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations 4
to 8 inches in the most persistent lake snows.
* WHERE...Lewis
County. The heaviest snowfall amounts will be confined
to the Tug Hill Plateau, with much less accumulation for the rest of the
county.
* WHEN...From 6
PM this evening to 7 AM EST Friday.

IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult with snow covered roads and reduced
visibility.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS
ACTIONS...During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of
locally heavy snow with greatly reduced visibilities to dry conditions just
a few miles away. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather, visibility, and
road conditions.
