...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM
MONDAY TO 1 PM EST WEDNESDAY...
 * WHAT...Heavy
lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
1 to 2 feet in the most persistent lake snows. Winds could gust as high as
35 mph, resulting in blowing and drifting snow.
* WHERE...The
Eastern Lake Ontario Region. The greatest accumulations expected across the
Tug Hill Plateau.
* WHEN...From 4
PM Monday to 1 PM EST Wednesday.

IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult with very poor visibility and deep
snow cover on roads. The hazardous conditions will
impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS
ACTIONS...Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be
prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
