Upcoming High School and Summer League Seasons in Jefferson and Lewis

Baseball Officials Needed
The Watertown
Baseball Umpires Association is seeking new members for the upcoming
baseball season. Members of the Watertown Chapter primarily officiate
baseball contests for High Schools in Jefferson and Lewis Counties. In
addition, members officiate contests for numerous
summer leagues. As the participation in baseball
is growing in the North Country, there is an ongoing need for expanding the
availability of baseball officials.
Joining the
Watertown Baseball Umpires Association offers the opportunity to be part of
the strong community of sports officials and help young athletes. A young person, high-school or college student, can make
some extra money and an older person, retiree, can stay mentally and
physically active.
Anyone interested
in umpiring baseball, an orientation meeting will be held on Monday,
January 27, 2025 at 7:00pm in the Small Cafeteria
at Watertown High School on Washington Street. For more information,
