Community Christmas Concert with Lowville Jazz

Lowville Community Christmas Concert
On Sunday,
December 15 at 2:00 PM our very own Historic
Lowville Village Band and the Lowville Jazz Ensemble will present a free
and festive Christmas Concert in the Lowville Academy Auditorium.
The concert will
begin with the Jazz Band playing two songs from the
Nutcracker Suite including a rock version of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and a swing version of the
March from the Nutracker. They will also
perform a jazz version of "Angels We Have Heard On High" . The jazz group will also perform
"Jing Bell Boogie" and "God Bless The
USA".
After a short set
change, the Lowville Village Band will perform several holiday selections,
including a Medley from "The Polar Express", "Sleigh
Ride". "Santa's Wild Ride", "A Charlie Brown Christmas
Medley", "Last Christmas", "A Christmas
Declaration", "I Want A
Hippopotamus for Christmas", and "Carol of the Kings".
