Obituary: Lynn Marvin Moser, 67, Lowville

Description automatically generatedLOWVILLE- Lynn Marvin Moser, 67, of River Road, passed away suddenly on Monday morning November 18, 2024 at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown, NY.

 

Lynn is survived by his mother, Belva M. Zehr Moser; one nephew, Tyler Moser;  five nieces, Tristyn L., Tierney L.,Taylor R., and Morgan E. Moser and Skye Rutledge, along with their partners and children; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Lori A. (Young) Moser; his father, Marvin M. Moser; and one brother, Lawson E. Moser.

 

Lynn was born on April 30, 1957, a son of the late Marvin M. Moser and Belva M. Zehr Moser.  He graduated from Beaver River Central School in 1975,  He married Lori A. Young on August 20, 1983 at First Mennonite Church, New Bremen with Rev. Lester Bauman officiating.  Lori passed away on June 6, 2024.  

           

Lynn attended First Mennonite Church of New Bremen.  He retired from Lowville Farmers Coop.

 

In his retirement, he enjoyed driving tractor at Hancor Farms, visiting other farmers, and splitting wood. Lynn had a passion for maple production, often telling stories of spending time in the woods and on the farm with family.

 

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday November 22, 2024 at First Mennonite Church, New Bremen.  Private burial will be in the church cemetery at the convenience of the family. Contributions in Lynn’s name may be made to the Beaver River Central School Future Farmers of America Chapter, 9508 Artz Road, Beaver Falls, NY 13305.
