LEWIS COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY FEATURED PET OF THE WEEK

New pet featured each Wednesday!

NOVEMBER 27, 2024: SLEEPY

A cat wearing a scarf in a cage

Description automatically generated"Sleepy is my name and I first arrived at the shelter in May 2022 as a tiny 5-week-old baby boy kitten. I was adopted and returned to the shelter a year later. Then I was adopted again and my family moved away and abandoned me! Luckily some people from the shelter rescued me and so here I am safe, warm and fed. It sure seems I have gotten the short end of the stick a few times. But I just know my forever family will find me!”

Check out pictures of all the cats, kittens, dogs and puppies at the shelter ready for adoption on our new Facebook page Lewis County Humane Society NY 501c3. Application forms and information can be found at lewiscountyhumanesociety.org/adopt

The Lewis County Humane Society,  6388 Pine Grove Road, Glenfield, is open 2-6 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and on Saturday from 11am to 4pm. Reach us by phone at 315-376-8349 or on our new Facebook page at Lewis County Humane Society NY 501c3. Donations can be mailed to: LCHS, PO Box 682, Lowville, NY 13367. Thank you for your kindness and support.
