Cornell Cooperative Extension Lewis County to Host Celebration of Agriculture and Annual Meeting October 23

Cornell Cooperative Extension Lewis County’s Celebration of Agriculture

 

Lowville, NY – CCE Lewis will hold a Celebration of Agriculture with Lewis County’s Farm Bureau and Soil and Water on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, starting 5:30 pm with their Annual Business Meeting covering elections and changes to the constitution.

 

Immediately following the business meeting guest speaker Brian Steinmuller from NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets/Division of Land and Water Resources will speak on Climate Resilient Farming. Fall Food Samplings and Beverages will be provided for this meeting.  Lewis County Farm Bureau will be having their Annual Pie Auction at the end to benefit the local food pantries. The cost is $10 per individual and $15 per couple. The public is welcome to attend, and we encourage you to reserve your spot by Tuesday, October 15th by calling the Cooperative Extension Office at 315-376-5270.
