Description automatically generatedLowville, N.Y. – The Village of Lowville Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) Local Planning Committee (LPC) is excited to announce the launch of a community survey to gather public input on proposed DRI projects received through the Open Call for Projects. This survey provides an opportunity for members of the public to share their thoughts and preferences regarding the projects that are being evaluated by the LPC for funding consideration.

The online survey will be available from September 20 to October 2, 2024, at www.LowvilleDRI.org. It offers a user-friendly platform for community members to review project summaries and provide feedback on which initiatives they believe will have the most significant positive impact on downtown Lowville.

"Public input is crucial in shaping the future of our downtown," said Dan Salmon, Village of Lowville Deputy Mayor and LPC co-chair. "We encourage all residents to take a few minutes to complete this survey and help us identify projects that align with our community's vision.”

The survey results will be considered by the LPC as they continue to evaluate and refine the proposed projects for inclusion in the final Strategic Investment Plan. This plan will ultimately determine which projects receive funding from the $10 million DRI allocation.

The LPC reminds the public that the survey is just one part of the ongoing public engagement process for the DRI. Community members are encouraged to stay informed about upcoming meetings and events by visiting www.LowvilleDRI.org regularly.
