Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter’s StageWorks Program Celebrates 25 Years with September 20 Performance of Beauty and the Beast

Arc, Oneida-Lewis’ StageWorks program celebrates 25 years with “Beauty and the Beast”

Description automatically generatedDon’t miss the thrill of live theater and the magic of storytelling as The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter’s StageWorks program presents “Beauty and the Beast” on Friday, September 20th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Clinton Central School Performing Arts Theater, 75 Chenango Ave, in Clinton.

 

This one-night performance is open to the public. Tickets are just $10 each, with pre-sale tickets available online by visiting thearcolc.org or by calling 315-927-0214. Children 12 and under with adult supervision are admitted for free. Tickets will also be available at the door, though purchasing yours in advance is recommended. Seating is general admission, and doors open at 6:00 p.m. New this year, the Lewis County Rockers dance team returns with a special intermission performance.

 

Commemorative t-shirts generously provided by the John H. Sheridan Memorial Fund, refreshments from The Arc’s owned Chef’s Express Bakeshop, and 50/50 tickets will be on sale at the show. The t-shirts and show poster feature a design by Susan Brabant, a person supported by The Arc’s Fine Arc art program. All proceeds will be used to fund future StageWorks performances. 

 

About StageWorks

 

Celebrating its 25th year of production, StageWorks was established at The Arc, Oneida-Lewis, to provide awareness, inclusion, and opportunities for people with disabilities with interests and talents in the creative and performing arts. This program is integrated and includes members with and without disabilities. Performances occur in the community, focusing on acting, choreography, and singing. People who have participated in the show for the past 20 years will receive certificates for their longevity.
