NOTICE:
TURIN TOWN
COUNCIL VACANCY
The Council of the Town of Turin is requesting letters of interest from
citizens interested in serving their community on the local governing body
by filling a vacancy on Town Council. Interested individuals must be
residents and qualified voters of the Town of Turin. Council members serve
at large, representing the entire town, not a specific district.
The appointee will assume office immediately following council’s
appointment and taking the oath of office. The appointee will serve the
remaining term ending December 31, 2025. The appointee may then run in the
general election if they so wish.
Anyone interested in serving should submit a Letter of Interest to include
sufficient background information that clearly demonstrates your interest
in becoming a council member and your capabilities, experience, and belief
that you are the best candidate to serve the citizens of the town.
Applicants are requested to include contact information including phone
number and email address with the Letter of Interest. Letters of Interest must be mailed or
delivered to: Sheena L. Dickinson, Town Clerk, P.O. Box 236, Turin. Letters
should be received in the Town Clerk’s Office no later than September 3,
2024.
