Health System and Harrisville Health Center Welcome Amanda Persons, PA-C
 LOWVILLE, NY─ Lewis
County Health System (LCHS) is pleased to announce that Amanda Persons,
PA-C, will join the medical staff starting Wednesday, August 28,
2024. She will see patients and provide a full range of primary
health care services for the entire family five days a week at the
Harrisville Health Center, 14214 Church Street, in Harrisville.
"I am
thrilled to welcome Amanda Persons, PA-C, to assist LCHS in providing
full-time access to care for the residents of Harrisville, Diana, and
surrounding communities," stated Gerald R. Cayer, Chief Executive
Officer at Lewis County Health System.
Amanda Persons,
PA-C, earned her Master of Science Physician Assistant at the State
University of New York at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the State
University of New York at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, and a
Bachelor of Arts Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the State University
of Oswego, Oswego, NY.

and his nurse helped to recruit Amanda Persons to join them in caring for
the Harrisville community," stated Dr. Sean Harney, LCHS
Chief Medical Officer, Employed Medical Practices. "With her experience and enthusiasm
for delivering the highest quality of family medical care, she will be a
great addition to our team, and serve our patients well."
Amanda Persons
came to Lewis County, New York, from Canton, NY, where she served as
Director/Physician Assistant at SUNY Canton Davis Health Center. She
supervised the staff and operations of the health center and provided
patients with a wide range of medical care for patients of all ages, from
infants to geriatrics, with wellness needs, acute care, and chronic
condition management. Ms. Persons also worked as a Physician
Assistant at Healey Medical Practice and Maplewood Nursing Home in Canton,
NY.
The Health Center
is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more
