ADAMS CENTER – Randall E.
“Randy” Murphy, 61, of NYS Route 177, passed away at his home on Wednesday,
July 10, 2024.
A funeral service
will be held at11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024
at Iseneker Funeral Home Inc., Lowville, with
Rev. Mr. Tom Yousey, officiating.
Burial will be in Beaches Bridge Cemetery. A gathering at the Marine Corps League
Det. #754, 7429 State Route 12, Lowville, will immediately follow the
burial. Any food donations may be
taken directly to the Marine Corps League on Thursday July 18, 2024 beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be
made to Beaches Bridge Cemetery in C/O Michele Burke, 6537 Pine Grove Road,
Glenfield, NY 13343.
He is survived by
his cherished daughter, McKenzie L. Murphy of Plattsburgh; his mother,
JoAnne Murphy of Lowville; a brother, Michael Murphy of Constantia; a
sister, Sue Anne (Douglas) Boshart of Calcium; aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews, and cousins. He is
predeceased by his father, Frank J. Murphy; and a brother, Alan Murphy; and
a sister-in-law, Linda Murphy.
Randall was born
February 20, 1963 in Lowville, NY, a son of the
late Frank J. and JoAnne L. Hill Murphy. He graduated from Cicero High
School in 1981 and later Jefferson Community College with honors. Randy worked for A.J. Missert
Inc., Watertown for nearly 25 years, starting as a delivery driver and
later becoming Warehouse Manager. He
worked until February, 2021, when he could not,
due to illness.
Randy was avid
outdoorsman, he loved hunting, and spending time at his property in
Copenhagen and at Stillwater Reservoir.
He also enjoyed tinkering in his garage.
