CASTORLAND - Catherine Jean
Petrus, 72, formerly of Karcher Estates, died Thursday evening, July 11, 2024
at Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and
Nursing.
Cathy was born on
July 21, 1951 in Syracuse, the daughter of the late
Stephen J. and Jean Catherine (Albertson) Petrus. She graduated from N. Syracuse High School. Cathy was a great
follower of the Beatles. In 1966 she traveled to Toronto and saw them live at the Maple Leaf Gardens.
Cathy continued to going to concerts to see Paul
McCartney and Ringo Starr.
She is survived
by her brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Deb Petrus; her nieces and
nephew, Jill Tedd, Cherry and Randy Andre; and Casey Tedd.
Per Cathy’s
wishes, she is to be cremated, with no services.
