Credo Community Center for the Treatment of Addictions, Inc. and Transitional Living Services of Northern New York Announce their Official Merge and New Name as THRIVE Wellness and Recovery, Inc.

Watertown, NY– Credo Community Center for the Treatment of Addictions, Inc. (Credo) and Transitional Living Services of Northern New York (TLS) are proud to announce an official merger under the new organizational name THRIVE Wellness and Recovery, Inc. Collectively, 96 years of providing mental health and substance use services in the North Country has been provided by Credo and TLS. The path has included helping others not only to survive, but regain their lives in a meaningful, person-centered manner so they can THRIVE. We are thankful to our patients, staff, the board, and collaborative community partners for supporting us along the journey.

In 2021, Credo and TLS began to discuss opportunities for collaboration that would strengthen service delivery and ensure the sustainability of robust treatment options for individuals in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties. With support from the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), the New York State Office of Addiction Supports and Services (OASAS), our local government units, and both boards of directors, Credo and TLS moved to a more formal exploration of a merger. This collaborative vision became a reality this year as we merged together and rebranded as THRIVE Wellness and Recovery, Inc. Together we are creating synergies for the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective treatment to children, adolescents, and adults with mental illness and/or substance/opioid use disorders.

THRIVE Wellness and Recovery, Inc. is committed to transforming lives through person-centered services that promote wellness and recovery for individuals, families, and the community Through the delivery of mental health and/or addiction services across the lifespan, the qualified staff at THRIVE aim to create an environment that is safe, respectful, high-quality, and equitable. Whether you need same day or appointment-based outpatient services, care management, short or long-term residential care, transitional or permanent supportive housing, peer-based services, or assistance connecting to community resources, our dedicated staff is here to support you. Working directly with those being served, THRIVE aims to be a catalyst in creating a thriving community of healthy individuals. We look forward to connecting you to the appropriate program and services that meet your/your loved ones needs.

Please note: To ensure a smooth transition, THRIVE has implemented an automatic redirection for both the Credo and TLS websites and email addresses. Individuals searching for the old website addresses will be redirected to the new website (www.thrivenny.com), and emails sent to the old Credo and TLS addresses will automatically forward to the new email addresses (first initial followed by full last name @thrivenny.com.
