Historic Lowville Village Band Opens 2024 Summer Concert

Lowville, NY- The historic Lowville
Village Band will open its 2024 summer concert series on Wednesday, July
3rd at 7 p.m. in beautiful Veterans Memorial Park. The concert will feature
patriotic songs and marches including God Bless America, The Stars and
Stripes Forever, Americans We, and A Patriotic Festival. The band
will salute our military branches with Armed Forces Salute.
Our very own band
has history dating back to 1826. It may be one of the first village
bands in United States history. Allentown, PA, has the longest
running community band with, history dating back to 1828.
The playground at
the park is open for the kids and food, dinners,
desserts and drinks will be available for purchase with Moose Knuckles food
truck on hand from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Join us for a Lewis County Salute to
America!
If rain, the
concert will be performed the following Wednesday evening (July 10).
