County to Hold Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies at New Outdoor
Services and DMV/Board of Elections Buildings on July 2

LOWVILLE, NY- On Tuesday, July
2, 2024, Lewis County will be officially celebrating the reopening of three
locations: Outdoor Services Building, Department of Motor Vehicles, and the
Board of Elections Building. The festivities will begin at the Outdoor
Services Building (7536 East Rd.) at 3:00 P.M. with a ribbon cutting
ceremony followed by light refreshments and tours of the new facility. At
3:20 P.M., the ribbon cutting ceremony at the DMV/Board of Elections
building (7513 East State St.) will commence, followed by light
refreshments and tours of the facility. The public is welcome to attend
both ceremonies and help us celebrate the reopening of both buildings.
Please note the
Department of Motor Vehicles will be closed at 2:00 P.M. that day to ensure
staff proper time to finish transactions as well
as prepare for tours of the facility. Permit testing will end at 1:00 P.M.
The DMV will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. We
apologize for any inconvenience.
