AMVETS (American Veterans) make a $1,000 donation to
the Lewis County Humane Society
 Lowville, NY- AMVETS Post 99
made a significant contribution to the Lewis County Humane Society,
presenting a generous check for $ 1,000.
AMVETS is a
welcoming veteran’s organization, open to all who have served honorably in
the United States military, including the Reserve and Guard. With a
strong network of over 250,000 members nationwide, we are veterans serving
veterans.
The Lewis County
Humane Society is a not-for-profit corporation that operates a no-kill
animal shelter on Pine Grove Rd in Glenfield. The shelter's expenses
far exceed their revenue.
The AMVETS is
located at 5383 Dayan Street, Lowville. Our meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday
of every month at 6 pm at the Lowville American Legion. Further
