Copenhagen Central School District Proposes $12.4M
Budget for 2024-25 with 2.88 Percent Tax Levy Increase

Copenhagen, NY- The Copenhagen
Central School District has proposed a $12,368,425 budget for the 2024-2025
school year, a 2.84 percent increase over the current year’s $12,026,424 budget,
with a tax levy increase at the allowed tax cap of 2.88 percent ($53,062).
The district’s budget
vote and Board of Education election will take place on Tuesday, May 21, from
12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the gym foyer.
Two seats on the
Board of Education are up for election, with both incumbent candidates-
Koreen G. Freeman and Keith Lee- running unopposed for new five-year terms.
