ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 8 PM EDT THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Snow
expected. Sleet may mix in for a few hours this evening. Total snow
accumulations of 4 to 7 inches on the Tug Hill Plateau, and 2 to 5 inches
elsewhere.

WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis counties. Greatest accumulations across the Tug
Hill Plateau.
* WHEN...From 7
PM this evening to 8 PM EDT Thursday. The majority of
the snow and worst travel conditions will be this evening through Thursday
morning.

IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult with snow and slush covered roads and
reduced visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning
commute on Thursday. This will be wet, dense snow that may bring down a few
tree limbs and result in isolated power outages.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS
ACTIONS...Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited visibilities.
Slow down and use caution while driving.
