LOWVILLE, NY─ Stacey Walton,
FNP-C, now offers medical and cosmetic BOTOX treatment at Lewis County
Family Practice, located at the main hospital campus on the third floor of
the Medical Arts Building in Lowville.
Stacey joined the
medical staff in 2021 and recently completed advanced training to provide
BOTOX treatment, earning certification as a Certified Master injector. A master injector is a credentialed
medical professional with high-level certification in many injectable
therapies.
She is certified
by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), earned her
Master of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner and Bachelor of Science in Nursing
from Utica College, and received her Associate of Science in Nursing from
St. Elizabeth College of Nursing, Utica, N.Y. Stacey holds advanced certifications in
basic, advanced cardiac, and pediatric life support certifications and
TNCC, ENPC, NIH, and SAFE-NY.
According to
Nurse Practitioner Walton, “BOTOX can be used to treat a variety of medical
conditions including migraines, TMJ disorders (teeth grinding or
clenching), adult torticollis (a twisting of the neck from muscle spasm),
and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).”
Many insurance carriers authorize requests for BOTOX treatment for
medical purposes. BOTOX can also be
used for cosmetic reasons, dramatically improving unsightly lines and
wrinkles around the mouth, jawline, and forehead.
Mrs. Walton also
offers dermal fillers to treat fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth and
lower face. Fillers can reduce marionette
and smile lines or fill hollows from volume loss in the lips, cheeks, or
temples to improve facial appearance.
“Injectable
treatments can quickly make a big difference for several medical
conditions, and with little inconvenience can help people feel more vibrant
and youthful,” stated Ms. Walton.
