Independent Living)
Advocacy Day February 12, 2024
in Albany
On February 12,
2024 NRCIL will take a day trip to Albany to participate
in advocacy surrounding the Disability Priority Agenda (DPA) presented by
NYAIL. This trip provides an opportunity for Volunteers and Advocates to
speak with legislators and share their stories related to issues that
impact individuals with a disability. The DPA includes the following
issues: Housing, Health & Medicaid, Employment, Governmental Operations
and Funding for Independent Living Centers.
