Roof Removal /Replacement

Request for Purchase 2024

 

The Town Board of the Town of New Bremen is seeking qualified contractors to remove and replace the roofing in the spring of 2024 of its Highway and Offices building located at 8420 State Route 812 Lowville, NY 13367. Interested contractors can inspect the proposed building at 9:00 am on, Jan. 31, 2024. All contractors submitting bids must comply with all Federal, State and local laws (i.e. Building Codes, labor laws, business laws etc.). Proof of insurance is required when submitting bid. Bids will be accepted until 3:00 pm on, Feb. 29, 2024.

 

The Proposed work to be completed as follows for Garage (approx. 10,756 sf) and Office Building (approx. 2,116 sf). Other work to be completed on Garage near Office Gabble remove Blue steel siding and replace with White. Must ensure watertight seal.

 

1)    Remove all current roofing materials from current structure, garage and offices.

2)    Apply high quality moisture barrier.

3)    Install appropriate number of ventilation devices

4)    Apply steel drip edge and trim as needed.

5)    Apply steel roofing with appropriate fasteners in color black with a warranty rating of fading and corrosion > 20 yrs.

6)    Removal of all debris minus removed steel.

 

A project completion date must be by September 1, 2024.  The Town of New Bremen Board Reserves the Right to reject any and all Bids.  The project will be awarded by March 11, 2024
